The Family

History and cuisine

Our Riondet begins in the summer of 1978 with our father Ivano, who, as a young twenty-year-old, embarks on his adventure with a bar/restaurant, assisted by his grandmother Maria, who supports him by working in the kitchen.

In 1980, Ivano marries Paola Collomb, our mother, who had just graduated and had previously worked with her parents and sisters at the La Lisse restaurant.

Today, with our support, we continue to run Lo Riondet for over forty years, maintaining the tradition of genuine and simple dishes typical of mountain cuisine.

Family has always been the soul of this home for us: generations follow one another, with the enthusiasm of us children, striving to improve the quality of the offerings while always preserving the traditions of the La Thuile Valley.
